Your Heart is Golden

''Your heart is golden, I don't deserve it.''

I was actually gonna make some Vent art today, was a little down, but that text really cheered me up <3 I wanted to make something from it to bring me back up so... Here ye go? I'm far from perfect, but someone else saying I have a heart of gold... It means a lot. And to be honest, I don't think I do. No body's perfect.

Dumbhog however, well, his heart is definitely that of gold. A selfless hero willing to put aside all his problems for others sakes, no matter what people think of him. He never thinks of himself, and though sometimes others let him down, he doesn't bat an eyelid and is quick to forgive.

About the artwork itself, this is the first time I've ever made such a big contrast between light and dark. With him being a dark creature anyway, I wanted the light to seem a surprising thing. Hence his surprised expression. I think it went ok myself, for a Speed Paint
