Back Story: Steel is from a parallel universe, of which Blaze and Silver are together. In this world, however, a vast war wiped out 90% of the planet's population. He was abandoned by his parents for his own safety.

Driven by sadness, Steel used an ancient power of his world to go back in time in an attempt to stop the war from ever happening. But to his surprise, he wound up in a parallel universe.

Since then, Steel spent many happy years in the beautiful new world of which he'd never seen before. He built himself a home, and befriended a Gryphon, which he called Talon. They're both inseparable partners.

Alas, this was not meant to be. Steel was aware of what his presence for so long in this world could do, and reality caught up with him. In this universe, Blaze and Silver were not together, rendering him non existent. A paradox. His presence was slowly tearing apart their worlds space time continuum, but he knew. Sadly, he never wished to go back, so told no one of this. Now he simply runs from reality, never wanting to return to his home universe despite the damage.

WOW it's been a long time since I drew Steel. Man he was such a Mary Sue. Eh, I tweaked him down a bit, but I still must change his design. I'll see if he appears again C:
